To realize this mission, AERD is committed to support research, policy development and conservation of biological diversity; and restoration of endangered species into their natural habitats. Our organization focuses to support sustainable livelihoods development of local communities living closely to the protected areas contributing to meet long-term ecological stability and socio-economic development. Alliance for Environment and Rural Development works in close cooperation with its partner institutions in conducting research and providing a unique capacity building opportunities and methodologies needed to help local communities to protect their environment and wildlife.
