AERD approach to climate resilience initiative is to support the vulnerable communities towards climate adaptation preparedness through studies and investigation focuses on climate change knowledge, mitigation and adaptation as the country faces frequently flooding, droughts and high temperature. The adverse impacts of climate change and variability leads to the loss of productive assets and human capital, coupled with the effect of uncertainty on agricultural investments, smallholders’ efforts to improve livelihoods, exacerbating poverty and social tensions.  Our organization works closely with the vulnerable communities to design programme and projects that focuses to enhance resilience, food productivity and gender equity to achieve ambitious climate and food systems.
