Alliance for Environment and Rural Development [AERD] is committed to implement all its plans, programme activities and its operations shall be guided by the following core values.

The organization believes that team work in all aspects of work is essential because it encourages individual members to joins team groups which are ready to implement program and activities in the field.

(b) Integrity

The organization believes that impartiality, fairness and honesty while upholding the highest ethical standards in the working place are very important. The organization encourages its target groups/beneficiaries to provide their feedback for better quality of services delivery.

(c) Professionalism

The organization intend to provide quality services to its target groups/beneficiaries at all times. The organization seeks to maintain high standard of professionalism through continuous skill development, training and accountability.

(d) Innovation

The organization is very concise in undertaking its program and activities at the grass-roots level. The organization seeks to introduce new ideas and techniques that may benefit the target groups/beneficiaries on the ground.

(e) Transparency

The organization would like to be a “small tree with strong roots” in implementing donors and partners program. The organization shall never hide anything to the donors and development partners to create an atmosphere of mutual trust between the organization and the donors/partners.

(f) Accountability

The organization believes that accountability in all aspects of project implementation to create a pleasant working environment that is critical for its success. The organization seeks to establish a solid base where everyone has a responsibility for the future.

(g) Inclusive and Participatory

The organization promote inclusiveness and participation of all stakeholders and beneficiaries in transformation and sustainable utilization of natural resources for the benefit of all. The organization may be proactive in addressing the needs of the target groups/beneficiaries.

(h) Knowledge:

The organization is convinced that knowledge is very crucial in all aspects of development and program implementation in the field. The organization seeks to recruit qualified/ or experienced personnel who are familiar with the subject matter to fill the vacant positions.

(i) Learning opportunities: 

The organization believes that skill development and capacity building of the employees and target groups/beneficiaries is very crucial. The organization shall provide learning opportunities for its employees through participation in different training programs.
